shirts are a little too see through and colors too bright for my own personal taste.

i do like the design of the 2nd shirt tho.

the cut of that turquoise trench looks weird on that model. the black trench looks good, except for that belt closure.

oh and i hate to say it, but the sleeves are a little loose. but thats always easy to take in.

im gonna be recylcing a lot of my old stuff this summer ;)

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying these dh luster era jeans that are up in ebay, but I don't know if they are authentic or not, what do you think?

damn, ebay url is too long. I opened a thread at the msn forum titled Luster jeans: Real or fake you can find the link to ebay there and I would really appreciate the help.

Nice to see you're thinking of makig the move to Prorsum. I think personally Burberry have been doing great things for a number of seasons now.
Now Hedi has departed and KVA is slowly ruining everything he built i think you'll see a fair few making the jump to Burberry and to older collections. Although they are much much harder to find than old Dh which is a shame.

Keep up the good work mate!!

yes, i am trying to move to Prorsum but i have yet to buy anything from Prorsum. This Japan trip was the first time that i have seen the collection in person.

I guess KVA lost his focus because he needs to design for 2 brand...i am sure he can do better when he has more time...Both Hedi and KVA style is so different

I don't know about Prorsum. It's too colorful for my taste, although I do like the cut of some of the trenchcoats and the trousers are definitely incredible. You know, I have a Burberry Prorsum leather jacket from 25 years ago! my dad gave it to me and it's still in perfect shape and the cut is great, so you know that whatever you buy from them will age incredibly well.

Some of the Burberry Prorsum pieces have actually a few other colours that are darker. Yes, their trenchcoats and pants are awesome but the prices are the killer...

If my Prorsum leather jacket is anything to go by (and it is 25 years old or so), the quality is superb and whatever you buy from them will last you a lifetime. Prices are killer for a reason.

i can't wait to go back to Singapore to buy Prorsum...Anyway, i have been searching online for Prorsum, do you know where i can get them online?

Check out matchesfashion.com
They have some killer coats, also made of leather!
I also like prorsum but when i tried some pieces in London i noticed that at least the denim is quiiite large. In terms of fitting i never had better fitting stuff than dior.
I am not too sure about the upper wear but i think it is not that tight. Correct me if i am wrong.

Personally in the last time i orientate myself to some "stronger" brands like Volga Volga,Number Nine, LGB... Found some interesting pieces that are exceptionally well made and a bit luster/strip like.

Of course, Prorsum is the best for a more conservative/fashionable look.:) And i wouldnt mind owning a Prorsum leather trench...

For me, i like their shirt especially...beautifully done

Number Nine has been disappointing for the last few seasons, maybe i am just not interested in their style

so i went to prorsum today and i must say that some of their stuff is pretty comparable to DH prices. Tees were $125-165, shirts were $500, trenches 2k, etc... I tried almost everything from the pics you posted. the trench totally grew on me btw - in red - but the fabric is not ideal for Los Angeles. I had to size down quite a bit because the shoulders were so wide. The shirts fit great. I wanted the military shirt with epaulettes but they didnt have my size in the color i wanted :(. i loved the black buttoned up shirt with the godlen stripes (your second pic) and decided to purchase it. The swiped my card and only as i was about to sign did i realized the price for the shirt was $2.5k!!! Now thats was just too crazy so i had to let the shirt go :(

yeah...some of the things are very nice but the prices are quite expensive especially the nicer stuffs. Yes that shirt is very expensive but its nice...maybe you can get it during the sale...like what i have planned...

so i finally caved. i got a whole bunch of stuff from prorsum including that shirt, the turquoise trench and many more cool shirts. the fit of the button down shirts is almost better than dh, for me at least. i still like the fit of the dh jackets and other outwear better tho.

Yes Yes. Prorsum shirts are wonderful...certainly better than DH...but older DH outerwear is better than...
