My holiday at Bangkok was good! I came home with something nice. I have been looking to buy an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watch for some time but with no luck. So i decided to check out the retailers at Bangkok since i am there.

At the first retailer, the only Offshore model they have is the limited edition Rhône-Fusterie. Limited Edition model is not my choice since i didn't want to spend too much on my first Audemars Piguet. Next, i went to another retailer and i saw the Rubber Clad in white dial. If it is a black dial, i would have bought it. After going to the last 2 well-known boutique, i knew Royal Oak Offshore models are scarce in Bangkok. So i thought i won't be able to find anything nice at the last boutique.

When i reach the last retail shop, i knew they would have more choices for me as the shop is really big. I was right because they have more 10 different Royal Oak Offshore. All were not my preference except for the Scuba. I was offered a 15% discount but i bargained and got a 20%. With the VAT refund, the price i paid is a very good deal...

Back from Hong Kong

I just got back from Hong Kong. Drove Porsche 911 Turbo. Had nice food. Went for family gathering. Celebrated my birthday. Went to ShenZhen, stayed at Grand Hyatt. Attended my good friend wedding. Went to my best friend birthday party.

Although i didn't buy anything but it was a pleasant trip. Sale is still on at almost every store but nothing interest me. I received my new leather jacket and Balenciaga jeans in HK and the fit of both is perfect. Really happy about it! Here are some pictures of what i wore in HK.

First stop, i went to a few shops to try on the few AP ROO that i like. As expected, a ROO is too big for me. It is not the diameter that is big, it is the straps/bracelets. If i were to get a ROO, i have to buy a shorter strap and change the clip buckle to a pin buckle...

I saw the SS10 Balenciaga sneakers at Joyce and it was retailing for HKD5,1000 (expensive!). Both the grey and blue versions were available. Overall, the sneaker looks nice and i prefer the grey one. Anyway, the croc leather looks real but i am not sure.

Next, i also went to the one and only Christian Louboutin store at On Lan Street. A black Louis Spikes was on display but it was the women version (exactly the same except smaller in sizes). The price for the men version is HKD7,900 and i was really tempted to order it as it was cheaper than Singapore. This pair of sneaker looks very well-made but in the end, i convinced myself not to buy it. Anyway, the women version is HKD6,900.

There is a store named Swank and i was recommended to visit it as it stocks Balmain. When i arrived at the store for women, there were basically only 2 items left and both items are actually from the current season. One of them is a pair of leather pants which is the leather version of the motorcycle jeans. The sales assistant insisted that i should try it so i went ahead. The pants looks really nice on me but it was too big for me even though it is a size 40. So now i know i have to get a 38 if i were to buy a pair of Balmain jeans. And for the information, the price is HKD37,000. Crazy!

I guess i will save on this season and splurge on Versace in Winter...

Now, my mind is all about the Louboutin Louis Spikes and Balmain jeans!
