Balmain ≈ Balenciaga?
Is this another case of a brand copying another? I don't think so. The first one is the Balenciaga AW11 Quilted Biker Jacket while the other is a leather jacket from the upcoming Balmain SS12 collection. Both jackets do have some similarities but aren't these the only few things you can add? Quilted leather patches on the elbow, zippers on the front and sleeves? Ever since i bought my Dior Homme SS07 Leather Jacket, i have always wanted another one with a quilted design. Should i waited for the Balmain?

Actually, the Balenciaga is just an updated version of a classic style put out by Lewis Leathers called the Monza. The Balmain looks far more fashiony. However, I believe the Balenciaga is a women's jacket.
Yes, it surely looks trendier. I wonder if it will look nicer with a collar. Anyway i am quite terrified with Balmain prices, they charge a huge premium.
Is that so about the Lewis Monza? And yes, the balenciaga is a women's jacket.
