Vimeo - My preference over Youtube

Vimeo is a video-centric social network site which launched in November 2004. Vimeo is more like a video-sharing website but it allows only user-created videos. Vimeo has gained a reputation for catering to a high end, artistic crowd because of its higher bitrate, resolution, and relative HD support. They are the first video-sharing site to support consumer HD back in 2007 and this is the reason why you see Youtube supporting HD now. Approximately 15% of all uploaded videos in Vimeo are in HD.
