New strap for my Panerai

I have been searching for a strap ever since i got my watch. The reason being is that the original strap is kind of long for my wrist. This causes the deployant clasp to be positioned off-centered on my wrist so i have to get another strap with the normal buckle.

Since there are plenty of strap makers out there, i had a hard time choosing one. In the end, i decided to go for one of the strap from Strap Works. It is from one of the signature series and each of the strap from this series is unique where there will never be a exact same one.

Quite nice straps but you should still be able to put the deployment clasp on the new strap without a problem.

I bought this strap for mine, they are hand made from vintage leather mostly military goods.

very nice watch... ... i want to buy it.. how much does it cost?? my budget is around 11000$... in march i've bought rolex submariner... but i suppose panerai isn't so expensive...do you know other nice watches that cost around 10000$?? my rolex is: http://www.rolex.com/it/index.jsp#/it/xml/collection/rolex-gallery/submariner/specification|model=M16613-0015 .... the second of three models..bye bye!

For this model, the retail price is US$5900. Well, all brands have entry-level models up to tourbillion models and the prices varies! Rolex can be more expensive or the other way round depending on the model.

10K is quite a good budget and there are plenty of choices out there...what kind of watches do you like?

But I wanted to watch Hedi slimane "mein leben" but it doesn't work !!!!!

How can I watch it ? Is the link dead ?

Off-topic question: do you know if the cropped blazer with satin lapels from VOTC is reissued every season? I've considered buying it and would like to know if it is an item that is remade ever season. Thanks!

yes...the classic satin peak lapel tuxedo is re-released almost every season but very limited pieces are made. Furthermore, i am not sure if KVA still makes them...

Hey... I'm actually picking up my Panerai today (thanks for the contact you gave me but this other store actually manages to bump me up the queue). Any recommendations on where to look for an alternative strap?

Thanks!

This is great! Are you getting it in HK?

I think your wrist is rather small so the best option is to have it customade...if you want croc leather, the best ones are from Simona and Ted Su. If you are interested in hornback croc leather, Ted Su will be better. I just ordered one from him and can't wait to receive it...
