I just bought this shirt a few days ago...which is one of the items in my Fall/Winter wishlist. The cut of the shirt is pretty good except that it is quite long...the fake bow tie is not a print, it is actually a patch sewn onto the shirt. Finally, i got something to wear to my company's Annual Dinner...

My fake tie one from the previous FW season cost like $300, did they increase the price this season?
And damn, you wear a 44? I wear a 46 and its so form fitting and tight, and the pit to pit is even slimmer than dior!
are you referring to the one with the straight tie at the buttons? That is nice. Every shirt is different and how can it be the same price?
it all depends on what size of DH do you compare it to...
yes, its the one van assche wore during the ss07 collection. Its the only shirt I bought from KVA. And I must say its very well made (but t shirts, belt are crap).
I usually wear size 38 dior. and the 46 is so slim, yet not tight on the arms. I really like the way it fits, which is why I bought it in the first place. I was hoping that it would fit like shit, so I wouldnt have to buy it. But after trying it on, I couldnt imagine not adding it to my wardrobe...haha
is it a print or a real piece of fabric sewn onto it? I would say KVA t-shirts are much better than DH...i have about 3 or 4 of them...
i wear size38 for DH too...44 in KVA is ok for me although its a little tight at the shoulders...well, to create a slim look...i decided to buy 44
one thing that i don't really like is that the shirt is too long...maybe i am short...haha(i'm 1.75m)
its another cloth sewn to it, to achive the "tie" look. Almost everyone likes it. They'd be like "nice tie!" but after a closer look, they'd get a bit confused and be all like "thats an interesting shirt!, whered you get that? I want one so I dont need to wear ties anymore during weddings!"
You mean the t shirts during pre ss05? the t shirts were made out of sheer cotton thats so soft and delicate! And design wise, KVA is so ugly with the 'love hurts' slogan and stuff!
I cant imagine wearing a 44, whe the 46 is that tight, maybe you can post a pic of you wearing it?
that is really nice. I wanted to get it but couldn't find it so i gave up...
the prints on the t-shirt is not that interesting but the good part is that the cut of it and the twirl at the neck is really nice...

I think you can still find it at y! jp auctions. Although the price is around 65000yen, if I remembered correctly.

I noticed this particular shirt has a french cuffs instead of the normal cuff thats on my fake tie shirt. I guess that explains why you think that the sleeves are a bit longer.

Are there any other designers making shirts similar to these? I have seen one that looked more like a real bow tie on an MTV show with rapper bow wow.
yes. Neil Barrett has one but its a print...as for the one u are referring, i guess its a real bow tie
